Unleashed Potential Animal Rescue ("we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) foster-based dog rescue in St. Louis, MO. This policy describes how we handle information across our website (unleashedpotentialrescue.org), our social media accounts, and the tools we use to manage them.

Information we collect

When you fill out an adoption, foster, or volunteer application, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, contact information, and household details) solely to process your application and coordinate adoptions, fosters, and rescue operations.

When you donate, payment is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store your card details.

Our website is hosted on Wix, which may use cookies and collect standard analytics data as described in Wix's own privacy policy.

Social media tools

We use software tools (including automated tools built on Meta's APIs) to publish content to our own Facebook Page and Instagram account. These tools post content on our behalf only. They do not collect, store, or process any personal information from our followers or from other Facebook or Instagram users.

How we use information

We use the information you give us to operate the rescue: processing applications, arranging meet and greets, coordinating fosters, and keeping you updated about animals in our care. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Data deletion

To request deletion of any information you've submitted to us, email us at adietrich@unleashedpotentialrescue.org and we will remove it.
